SWISSThe SWISS website is an initiative of the QUT Field Education Unit. Our team is committed to innovation and knowledge development in field education. The site responds to calls from our Field Educators for an on-line resource that supervisors can use to access relevant and timely resources and practical information that can help them proactively respond to the complex world of student supervision. The initiative was made possible with funding from Health Workforce Australia.
SWISS is intended to be an interactive resource. Our hope is that it is a space for supervisors and students to share their experiences and wisdom and for others to benefit from that sharing.
Our team is responsible for the delivery of the QUT practicum component of the Social Work and Human Services Bachelor and Masters degrees. In partnership with our amazing Industry partners we are able to offer our students professional and challenging practice experiences.
The work of the Field Education Team could not be done without our partnership with the QUT Work Integrated Learning Support Team (WILS) The WILS team is responsible for the administration of the placement. They are a dedicated and efficient team who are ready to respond to your enquires.
